There's something about siblings singing simultaneously, similar sounds and seductive symphonies.... wow, sorry for the S fest! Just one more: sisters. Katie Leigh and The Infantry is a local San Diego band featuring guitar, mandolin, violin and catchy songs delivered with the sweet harmony that only sisters can deliver.

Katie Leigh, joined by sister Ashley deliver the goods backed by a band that makes it all come together with ease. The music is a mixture of folk and pop, influenced by James Taylor, Patti Griffin, Carol King, Allison Krauss, Jenny Lewis, and the girl's father. "We don't think about it too often, but everyone has that one song that reminds them of a moment in time. Just the familiarity of a song can bring up old feelings, tastes, smells, everything! That's what's so amazing about music, and that's why I want to be a part of it," says Katie.
