My Life of 3 Ounces

The concept for this blog was born from a time when traveling went from packing your passport, toothbrush and laptop to an arduous task and routine of identifying, in advance, all of the potential hang-ups and obstacles that one might encounter when simply trying to make it to their respective gate. Get ready to take off…or not.
For about a year or so, I found myself traveling all the time – it seemed like I spent more time going through security checks, sleeping and working on jet planes, checking into and out of hotels and shopping in foreign countries with foreign currencies more than I was ever in my own, home state. What was great about these trips is that they allowed me to see the world! I walked a million miles in the shoes of strangers, fantasized about what their daily routines looked like, must have felt like and day-dreamed about my next international conquest. Let’s just say that I learned a lot…a lot.

I live, well we all live in a world, I believe, where anything is possible. Call me optimistic, but at my core, I do believe this. For example, how does a girl from Texas come to find herself spinning records in international clubs, enjoying lunch with Ice T, traveling the globe with a celebrity speaker and then participating in the launch and growth of a lesbian multi-media company? Really?! I may never understand how this all happened, but what I do know is that today is a time where truly just about anything has the possibility to be achieved - a click and a small URL away. What separates the "haves" from the "have nots" is not just wealth anymore. It's resource. It's resourcefulness. The game is new. The rules have changed. And I couldn't be happier...
Take, for example, the launch of FlawLes. We had
